Allen County R.A.C.E.S.
Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service
The Allen County R.A.C.E.S. organization was founded in the spring of 2009. The primary responsibility of the Allen County R.A.C.E.S. is to provide emergency communications in the event of a disaster or to augment local governments in Allen County with public communications in the event of an emergency.
The secondary responsibility of the Allen County R.A.C.E.S. organization is to assist the Allen County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management in any way possible to help improve with the efficiency of the agency and service to the public.
